Implexus Landscape Architecture Design, LLC is the formal company description I owe taxes under. However, it is important to express the driver and ultimate impetus of the ‘doing business as’ title of ILA Design. ILA Design is as an homage to my late grandmother Ila. Without Ila and my mother, I would not have had the opportunity to travel the world, study design, and understand the responsibility one has to helping others. My family provides the structure, balance, and inspiration for ILA Design. My son is quick with a crayon, the puppy will dig any hole you need (but mostly don’t), and my other half is a miracle of scheduling and support.
I appreciate everything in design from the weight of a spoon to the sound of wind through your favorite tree. Ultimately, design is always on my mind. I envision projects through the eye of the user to deliver design with intent and appreciation for context.
ILA Design is providing a new venue for landscape design services based out of Smithville, Missouri that started in Spring 2022.
